What we do | Climate.Careers

We're mobilizing the world’s talent to solve the climate crisis.

Climate.Careers helps talented jobseekers find high-impact, high-paying jobs at organizations working to address climate change.

We partner with organizations advancing climate solutions, research, policy, education, and advocacy for climate action. We support those organizations by helping them
attract mission-driven talent.

Our mission is to leverage employment as a vehicle to drive climate action and advance impactful climate solutions.

Our impact framework is based on Project Drawdown's list of evidence-based climate solutions, and is designed to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

What are the UN Sustainable Development Goals?

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 global goals to achieve by 2030, set by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. The SDGs are:

1) No Poverty, 2) Zero Hunger, 3) Good Health and Well-being, 4) Quality Education, 5) Gender Equality, 6) Clean Water and Sanitation, 7) Affordable and Clean Energy, 8) Decent Work and Economic Growth, 9) Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, 10) Reduced Inequality, 11) Sustainable Cities and Communities, 12) Responsible Consumption and Production, 13) Climate Action, 14) Life Below Water, 15) Life on Land, 16) Peace and Justice Strong Institutions, 14) Partnerships to achieve the Goals.

By leveraging Project Drawdown's actionable climate solutions, our framework for impact is therefore also designed to support the achievement of the SDGs, as nearly all Drawdown solutions can be mapped to these global goals.

At least 24 million new climate-impactful jobs will be created by 2030 as a result of addressing the climate crisis, according to the United Nations. Climate.Careers exists to accelerate this critical shift, by building the network for climate solutionists, the individuals and organizations working to address climate change.
