Project Coordinator TerraPower is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Targeted Alpha Therapy team. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated proficiency with Project Management Support tasks and expectations, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with a high volume of interruptions, develop then track a schedule, follow-up on tasks and report schedule trends and metrics. This position reports to the Deputy Director of the TAT Program and be responsible for assisting with the execution of tasks related to project and program scheduling and coordination. Responsibilities Schedule project related meetings, maintain action item logs, assist with the development of Project Management procedures, templates and guidelines Supporting the development and maintenance of the TAT Schedule using MS Project. May assist with developing project controls metrics and other performance indicators as assigned. Analyze data, identify and report trends and variances, Assist in updating and maintaining the TAT Risk Register Assisting with the facilitation of TAT project review meetings, and project planning support as assigned Regularly interact with project staff to schedule work, follow-up on tasks, and coordinate assignments Interact with project team and task managers and task owners to define project tasks when assigned Regularly update detailed schedules cost information identification of variances from original plan Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas. Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend solutions to reduce schedule slippage Support project management team to maintain timely and effective change management process driven updates. Other duties as assigned. Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA a bonus Experience using Primavera 6 a bonus PMP or CAPM certificate a bonus Key Qualifications and Skills College graduate or equivalent Project Management experience PMP or CAPM certificate is highly preferred Minimum of two years of Project Management experience Excellent English oral and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project Excellent grammatical, editing and proofreading skills Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Exceptional attention to detail Ability to problem-solve, multi-task and be flexible Ability to work in a busy, frequently interrupted setting Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision Ability to recognize needs and exercise good judgment in how and when to take initiative to accomplish tasks Ability to meet varying business and meeting schedules The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.
