We are looking for a freelance Software QA Engineer who is ready to embark on a 3-month mission between April-May to July with us. To support our team in Berlin, you should be passionate about product quality and promote a culture of quality. You will help shape the steps and processes around quality during the SDLC, and train cross-functional teams on how to be autonomous in this domain. This is a fantastic opportunity to work behind the scenes and boost the quality of our products which is used by millions of users. The mission will start with a thorough on-boarding and an introduction to our products and teams. What you’ll do Collaborate with different cross-functional teams to define, implement, and document test strategies, and establish best practices. Collaborate with developers and product managers to discuss defects and resolutions. Be responsible for the full QA life cycle from requirement analysis to release. Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to write test scenarios for all new features. Support the product manager and UX designer in the testing efforts. Thoroughly test and validate all features/bug fixes on both Front-end and Back-end projects to optimize for quality and usability. Train and coach different cross-functional teams on strategy, best practices, and adopting a Quality mindset - As a team, we want to level-up on Quality!
