Support motor manufacturing for FMEA, DFM, DTC, material selection, and process evaluation during prototyping and volume production. We’re looking for someone who is experienced in designing switched reluctance motors in the range of 1HP to 25HP for industrial and customized applications. You are knowledgeable in power electronics hardware, motor control algorithms, and switching concepts (e.g. PWM and hysteresis). You have a fundamental understanding of losses in electric motors, and ways to influence them through smart tradeoffs.
