About The Role
Fostering global resilience starts with our team and therefore also with our recruiters who build it. This is no small task. Our unique mission requires a unique team: from PhD flood and seismic scientists who pair niche hazard expertise with deep data science skills to crack engineers who enable our unprecedented data ingestion capabilities to a business team that can translate category-creating vision into tangible value props for customers. 
That said, to build this team, you too must be unique. 1C recruiters must be creative, dogged, and resilient themselves. Being data driven is a requirement, but so too is your empathy, understanding, and dedication to the mission of improving lives worldwide. But most critically, you must want to build. Joining the One Concern recruiting team means that you will not just execute recruitment, but build and own it. The ideal candidate would combine extensive tech recruiting experience with a clear streak of entrepreneurship and a desire to use those experiences to grow with the company. 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting in the tech industry
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese required
  • Strong relationship building skills to build rapport externally and internally
  • Strong ATS data integrity practices
  • Ideal candidate has experience building and managing recruiting teams

Responsibilities

  • Own the candidate pipeline and manage candidates from start to finish
  • Work closely with hiring managers to prioritize hiring needs and build a structured interview process that separates signal from noise in identifying candidates who meet the company’s needs
  • Coordinate closely with Menlo Park-based office and People Ops team
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates to match experience to openings
  • Maintain ATS data integrity
  • Draw insights from industry research, talent trends, and 1C ATS data to refine and improve 1C recruiting strategy and implementation
  • Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns, and partnering with vendors
  • Inform and promote our employer branding and marketing efforts in Japan
  • Ideal candidate would build and manage the recruiting team itself as the company scales
