What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking a Marketing Project Manager to join our growing Marketing team. The ideal candidate enjoys operating independently in a fast-paced environment and is good at prioritization, organization and communication. S/he is responsible for the day-to-day flow of offline/online projects through the Marketing department and assisting Marketing teams in bringing projects to fruition via detailed followthrough. Working with a cross-functional team of web developers, designers, writers/editors, and campaign managers, the Project Manager is at the hub of it all. You will manage the project brief process, prioritization and queues along with communication with multiple stakeholders. You are an enthusiastic, creative marketer and clear communicator who can execute on high-impact ideas, clearly prioritize workloads, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to timely completion. 

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Work with Marketing stakeholders to evolve process-related needs of the department; analyze ways to increase efficiency and foster adoption and use of project management platform; research possible solutions; and make/implement recommendations to continue to build lightweight processes that enable scalability.
  • Monitor and follow up on incoming project requests to ensure all projects are prioritized and assigned resources in a timely manner; lead weekly progress meetings to review work queues and communicate with all stakeholders. 
    Marketing Project Manager (Contract position)
  • Maintain and reinforce timelines/schedules with campaign managers, design, content, web and other team members 
  • Oversee daily job flow, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and part of process. Track milestones for all projects; adjust schedules as necessary, communicate and coordinate resources with other teams (e.g., translation & localization) as needed. Clearly communicate status of all projects and risks. 
  • Optimize overall project management process for efficiency through ongoing measurement and reporting on project lead times, number of projects in progress, etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum: 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in a Marketing environment.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at any one time. Ability to work quickly and decisively, switching from project management tasks to critical thinking.
  • Strong understanding of interdepartmental structure and dynamics; capable of managing up, or sideways as needed; uses diplomacy to balance competing project requests. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead new initiatives and develop processes from scratch.
  • Strong service orientation and interpersonal skills. Problem solver mentality willing to take initiative and go above and beyond to ensure deliverables are met. Skilled in problem solving, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.  
  • Preferred:
  • Proficiency in Asana, Confluence and Jira/Jira Core (or other project management tools); experience with Agile methodology a plus.
  • Certified PMP.
  • Experience with digital asset management platform(s).
