Plenty is an indoor, vertical farming company that is shining a new light on the way we do food. It calls for less time, space, and resources while producing full-flavor, fresher, more cravable produce. Plenty’s produce is currently sold and found in national and local retail grocers.

The people and teams who make up Plenty are at the core of how we do that. We are looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to join our marketing team who will be responsible for planning and executing paid channels, and measuring success (conversion and sales lift) across our go-to-market efforts.

You’ll be working alongside a collective of growers, innovators, engineers, scientists, artists, foodies and plant romantics working to improve the quality of plants, people, and planetary health.

About Role

This is a strategic and executional role - we need someone who brings a wealth of domain expertise, while rolling up their sleeves to directly manage campaigns to drive key objectives as Plenty grows within its very first market and subsequent markets soon-to-come. You will work with the broader marketing team consisting of creative, brand and integrated marketing, to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention. You will drive all aspects of performance media such as continuously testing new strategies and channels to scale acquisition, measuring performance and allocating budgets accordingly.

An ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing paid social and search, as well as a natural inclination and affinity toward developing and refining data sets that support a highly attributable, surgical approach to growth and budgets.

This role reports into the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing and is a key player in defining and driving the marketing team’s success. What You’ll Do

  • Define and oversee all paid acquisition channels, including digital and offline paid media, with heavy focus on paid social and search

  • Develop and optimize creative assets and tools in partnership with in-house creative, brand and product teams

  • Help define KPIs and manage tightly to CAC and LTV targets, with daily, weekly and monthly tracking and reporting.

  • Manage performance marketing tech stack

  • Collaborate with marketing team on strategy, analytics, audience segmentation, attribution, lifecycle journeys and retention strategies

  • Identify, test and optimize the best performance marketing channels to drive ROI

  • Provide analytical thinking, problem solving and strategic frameworks to maximize the brand’s potential

  • Build the framework for and communicate, track and measure progress

  • Leverage data and insights to drive strategic and tactical marketing decision making and optimization, and demonstrate business impact - move quickly and fail fast!

  • Sponsor the development and testing of new programs that will build brand awareness and drive demand, and use data, technology, and creative channel solutions to create a brand experience that doesn’t exist

  • Establish goals, objectives performance metrics, and develop an appropriate marketing investment level based on business objectives. Continuously improve effectiveness and the ROI of marketing investments

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5-7 years of acquisition-based consumer marketing experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred

  • Proven hands-on experience in paid social and search, specifically on conversion-based campaigns

  • Proven expertise leveraging data to impact and continually improve marketing performance

  • Experience managing media budgets and creating and maintaining goals for user acquisition (CAC) and other key performance metrics (e.g. ROIC)

  • Demonstrated experience and creativity in measuring online and offline sales lift

  • Deeply analytical and data-driven; familiarity with statistical significance is a plus

  • Proficiency with CPA, LTV, testing, attribution models, cohort analysis

  • Strong understanding of strategic frameworks, problem-solving and analytical skills, including advanced modeling

  • Comfort with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment; experience working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment is a plus

  • Exceptional budget and timeline management

  • Exceptional work ethic and sense of ownership and accountability

  • Must be able to perform under pressure, short deadlines and in high visibility settings with a bias for action and sense of urgency

  • Obsessive attention to detail
