Lucid is looking for an experienced sales, marketing, and advertising Attorney to join our legal team. This role will support Lucid’s business leaders and stakeholders in the management and handling of matters to consumer sales, advertising, and marketing.
- Advise our sales, retail, and marketing teams on laws and regulations relating to consumer sales, advertising, and marketing
- Develop, monitor, and improve processes to optimize efficiency and quality control while reducing legal risk related to advertising and marketing communications
- Identify legal risks and opportunities within the sales, marketing, and advertising areas and propose practical, business-minded solutions
- Draft and negotiate agreements related to sales, marketing and advertising
- Partner with business teams to provide advice and creative solutions to complex problems
- Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and training for legal compliance
- Work seamlessly and collaboratively within the legal team and as a legal business partner to multiple internal business stakeholders

- Minimum of 7 years of substantive sales, marketing, and advertising experience with a corporate legal department or law firm
- Experience with the following is preferred: automotive sales; FTC and e-commerce laws, regulations and marketing principles; digital advertising sales and technology platforms; and litigation
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to effectively relay complex information in a concise format
- Practical business judgment
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage multi-faceted projects
- Proven track record of learning quickly, taking initiative, working proactively, being resourceful, and taking on additional responsibility.
- Law degree (J.D.) from ABA-accredited institution
- Eligible to practice law in California
