Powerhouse is hiring for a senior leadership position to lead company growth. The VP of Strategy reports directly to the CEO and is the most senior company executive outside of the CEO. The VP of Strategy will lead execution of the innovation firm’s activities. The VP will manage teams that execute business development, partnerships, and product. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of leadership, vision, industry expertise, and a passion for managing teams with a focus on initiative and execution.
Oversee the development and execution of Powerhouse’s innovation firm activities in collaboration with Powerhouse’s CEO
Manage the development of Powerhouse’s partner pipeline and sales process
Oversee and manage a partnership team to implement contracts with corporations and investors
Manage a team that develops and expands Powerhouse’s CRM, data, product, and the development of research and market insight reports
Manage a team that plans and executes Powerhouse events and partner workshops
Collaborate with the CEO on financial management, hiring, and strategic planning
Serve as a key external representative of Powerhouse in meetings with stakeholders, at conferences, and at events
At least 10 years of relevant full-time experience with significant industry experience in clean energy and mobility
An inspirational leader who has the ability to build a strong network and serve as a key external representative of Powerhouse
Experience managing and leading a team with vision, organization, and a focus on execution
Comfortable building and evolving productive relationships with stakeholders at key partner companies
Ability to navigate through ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited support staff
Strong decision-making skills, utilizing data to inform decisions and identify financial impact
Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills
Passion for work that helps to mitigate the impacts of the climate crisis and deploy clean energy and next-generation mobility
Embodying and strengthening Powerhouse’s principles through model leadership and management
Developing key personnel into strong, autonomous, leaders and managers
Considering intuitively and analytically the financial implications of various decisions
Overseeing the development and launch of future initiatives
Aligning scaleup efforts with the company’s mission and vision
