Job Description

Lime is a smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters. Lime aims to revolutionize mobility in cities by empowering residents with cleaner, more efficient, and affordable transportation options that improve urban sustainability.
The Manager of Corporate Communications will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and play a key role in driving the departments most critical initiatives with efficiency and speed while providing overall support to the Corporate Comms team at a strategic, tactical, and operational level. This is a key role that impacts all areas of the business - working with internal team members and business leaders.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and pitch comments to news on business development and product announcements, sustainability announcements, and key milestones affecting Lime
  • Build playbooks, processes, and procedures to facilitate the company’s ability to strategize and influence on a global scale, primarily through earned media
  • Manage Lime’s Corporate Award and Speaker Bureau Submission 
  • Maintain the corporate editorial calendar and align internal resources around communications needs to support our narrative priorities
  • Oversee the planning and execution of Lime’s owned communications channels
  • Support the development of communications for Lime’s product and service offerings around the world
  • Maintain and update corporate foundational material including, but not limited to, earned coverage trackers, media monitors, global talking points, press kit, and the internal comms newsletter

About You

  • 3+ years experience in managing or supporting message development and media relations in a regulated and ultra-competitive consumer product marketplace
  • Scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit with aptitude for overcoming obstacles with limited resources
  • The ability to generate and disseminate content across the globe that speaks to both consumers and regulators
  • Relationships with consumer and product related media outlets is preferred
  • Precise, empathetic communication skills in both 1:1 and company-level settings
  • Strong cross-functional relationships with product, operations and government relations teams in past roles
  • Experience using research and data to draw consumer insights, track campaign performance, and iterate on our PR strategy
  • A belief in the importance of providing access to sustainable forms of transportation
  • Excellent communications skills
