Who’s Saving the Planet Media Group


“Who’s Saving the Planet” podcast was founded in early 2020 to highlight start-ups building sustainable products and technologies. We’re building out our flagship podcast into a suite of media products to attract market demand for sustainable, eco-centric brands and generate revenue through partnerships, sponsorships, and affiliate marketing. 

We’re offering an opportunity for industrious, creative, and determined entrepreneurs to join the venture as we build our audience, onboard strategic partners, and develop avenues to revenue including affiliate marketing, paid virtual events and a subscription platform. This will be a hands-on opportunity- you’ll be expected to actively contribute to overall growth strategy and be prepared to get your hands dirty in the trenches of digital media, business development, and gorilla marketing. 

About you

You believe that climate change is an existential threat and that consumer driven solutions will play a significant role in changing consumption habits, product standards, and sustainability thresholds. You have an appetite for working within guidelines but thrive autonomously prioritizing your efforts day to day. This role is goal oriented: you’ll directly with the co-founders to structure strategic outcomes but will be expected to devise tactical solutions independently. You love exploring new ideas, testing quickly, learning quicker, keeping what works and letting go of the rest.

This role is open for candidates with a range of experiences, and we will tailor the specific responsibilities accordingly. For the right candidate, there is the potential to graduate from intern to full time employee, including an equity option package. 

About the Role

This role is geared toward a digitally native social media and content creation maverick, well versed in the parlance and tactics of guerilla marketing.  You will have primary ownership over the day to day of our instagram and facebook accounts, along with sporadic efforts on youtube, linkedin, pintrest, and potentially tiktok, including generating and posting information, structuring collaboration with influencers and brands, eventually onboarding strategic partners and even hosting your own podcast (yes, really!). You’ll be working with the team, particularly our Brand Advisor, PR Liason and founders. Responsibilities include

  • Content Generation and deployment across social channels
  • Cultivating strategic relationships with influencers/brands/blogs 
  • Developing unique marketing opportunities, like webinars, "best of catagory lists," collabs in youtube, and whatever you come up with that’s mindblowingly amazing
  • Basic understanding of growth marketing, including establishing and tracking your own KPI’s

This internship is a full-time opportunity that will be remote for its entire duration. It is an unpaid internship, with potential to grow as the business does.
