Contribute to the development and optimization of scalable separation techniques to isolate target proteins from microbial hosts.
Execute bench-scale experiments with downstream processing unit operations that include homogenization, tangential flow filtration, centrifugation, freezing, and drying.
Exercise ability to interpret data into conclusions and report to larger team to influence project direction.
Collaborate cross-functionally with project teams to design and execute scale-up process tech transfers from bench to pilot as well as scale-down troubleshooting when appropriate.
Carry out lab scale protein analytics include Bradford, SDS-PAGE, UV-vis, UPLC, mass spec, etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering or related.
3+ years of research or Process Development experience.
Strong understanding of Fermentation and/or Separation/Purification processes, especially Centrifugation and TFF operations.
Demonstration of excellent record keeping, data management, and accountability.
Capacity to maintain a clean, sanitary, organized and safe workplace.
