Description

The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the systems and procedures that Activate Global relies upon for day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the needs and culture of the organization. Success will require a high-level parallel processing and working cross-functionally with different team members and leaders throughout the organization. The Business Operations Manager will initially be a part-time role that reports to the president of Activate.  

 Primary Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining operating procedures across core business functions 

  • Managing administration level access and privileges for business software systems

  • Leading procurement and asset tracking activities 

  • Supporting finance team with audits, taxes, and other business reporting deliverables

  • Collecting and analyzing operating metrics across HR, finance, contracts and administration

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong organizational skills, time management and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage and direct multiple projects with minimal supervision and intrinsically motivated 

  • 5 - 10 years of organizational business operations experience

  • Proficiency with G-suite Office and Microsoft Office tools 

  • Able to successfully interact with all levels of the organization

  • Professional communication skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent analytical and research skills

  • Feels like the world’s scientific and entrepreneurial talent should be focused on more serious pursuits than dog-walking apps
