The Extern, Sales Strategy & Analytics will primarily support our growing Retail grocery and International businesses. This individual will contribute to building the company’s sales reporting, including the creation of KPI dashboards for the management team. They will collect, coordinate, and disseminate critical sales data. Additionally, this individual will support the production of Sales content for many critical internal and external meetings, including Board meetings. 
Externs are expected to join for a fixed 3-6 month term, after which there may be opportunities to transition to a permanent position. We have the same expectations of our externs as of any team member. Given current office policy regarding COVID-19, this position is open to remote applicants. 

You Will

  • Develop Impossible Foods’ internal sales reporting capabilities, including analyzing customer POS and syndicated data and preparing internal dashboards
  • Support sales forecasting for the S&OP process, including collecting forecast inputs from Sales and refining the forecast model with cross-functional partners
  • Support trade and promo process, including analyzing promo effectiveness in coordination with Finance and Retail teams
  • Build analyses to support new market launches and new products, including market sizing, new SKU forecasts, and more
  • Support the development of Impossible Foods’ internal sales reporting capabilities for International businesses, including with launches in new countries
  • Embody our Sales Operations team values of inspiring trust, embracing change, and committing to excellence

You Have

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1-2+ years of experience within Consulting, Finance, Strategy, Operations, or Sales
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite – Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize various work streams
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills, combined with the ability to clearly communicate the main takeaways to stakeholders from a wide range of functions
  • A continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements to eliminate non-value added work
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
