We are the first B2B marketplace connecting farms with food & beverage businesses to sell ugly and surplus produce that would have otherwise gone to waste. 30-40% of food is wasted every year around the globe. The Role:

We are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage existing Key Accounts in order to support our rapid marketplace growth for food & beverage company buyers. The KAM is tasked with handling all Key Account customer needs to help manage and grow business through white
glove service and in-person visits (up to 25% travel required- COVID dependent). The KAM will increase business with existing Key Accounts and develop business with new Key Accounts. The KAM reports into the Head of Sales.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze account data and support all order needs to provide excellent customer relationship management
  • Support Key Account usage of the Full Harvest marketplace and sell them on the value of the technology
  • Grow existing Key Account business, acting as advisor to the customer
  • Expand opportunities for Key Accounts to utilize a wider breadth of organizational capabilities and increase revenue diversification through additional services, including Full Harvest marketing support and innovation services as well as growing business throughout larger parts of their organization
  • Negotiate RFPs, pricing agreements and finalize buyer contracts and establish performance timelines
  • Manage communications between key clients and internal teams
  • Resolve key customer issues and complaints
  • Leverage CRM data to understand the efficacy of current processes, enhance those processes and improve outcomes
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Key Account needs in the US market with focus on large enterprise customer accounts in food and beverage buying segments
  • Provide thought leadership to customers through relevant industry related information and data to assist customers with their growth and education
  • Understand customer produce categories and profit margins to develop plans for growth and profitability

Our Ideal Candidate Has and Is:

  • 5+ years of Key Account or National Account experience
  • Startup (ideally B2B or SaaS) and / or food & beverage account management experience preferred
  • A gritty, resourceful multitasker with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • High sense of urgency
  • Data driven, makes fact-based decisions to translate results into better solutions
  • Demonstrated sales record of obtaining / exceeding quotas
  • Formally trained and successfully used an effective sales methodology
  • A proven track record of developing new and repeat revenue with large, complex customers through cross-selling and up-selling accounts
  • Thrived working in fast-paced business environments, executing in the face of ambiguity and constant change
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, entrepreneurship, business administration, or relevant field
