Job Description

What if nature could be harnessed to help farmers sustainably feed the planet? Since 2014, Indigo has questioned agriculture's full value chain to improve grower profitability, environmental sustainability, and consumer health. The company’s scientific discoveries and digital innovations have amplified new value from soil to sale, benefiting more than 10,000 growers to date. Indigo is also the company behind The Terraton Initiative, a global effort to drawdown one trillion tons of atmospheric carbon dioxide by unlocking the potential of agricultural soils. In 2019, Indigo was ranked #1 on CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list. Headquartered in Boston, MA, Indigo has additional offices in Memphis, TN; Research Triangle Park, NC; Sydney, Buenos Aires, Argentina; Basel, Switzerland; and São Paulo, Brazil.

Indigo Carbon enables growers to generate carbon credits by transitioning to farming practices that sequester carbon in the soil. The Carbon Data Quality Manager will drive processes that not only ensure precise, accurate, and verified assessments of field boundaries, but that also enhance our understanding of how growers are managing their farms. Achieving a high level of accuracy in these areas is paramount to the success of the Carbon Product Offering, and the Carbon Data Quality team represents the front-line of this effort by systematically tracking and mastering quality control for this data. Within this context, the Carbon Data Quality Manager will need to excel in areas of team management, process development and enablement, and leverage various technologies to work cross-functionally within the department as the primary source of truth for quality control checks within the Indigo Carbon Program.
