Currently we are looking for a Customer Operations Coordinator to support our business launches in Europe. This position will begin on a 6 month contract, with the possibility to convert to a permanent role.  

 

Responsibilities:

Product Logistics

  • Build end-to-end logistics for Indigo products from manufacturing site to growers in key European launch markets, incl. defining requirements, bulk shipment, storage and labeling, customs clearance and delivery to individual end-user locations
  • Run selection, contracting and manage international and local logistic service providers (3PL) on day-to-day basis
  • Keep tracking of deliveries and performance/issues; resolve any operating complaints

Customer Contracts

  • Manage grower and distributor contract establishment in launch markets per established process and legal templates
  • Coordinate signature process with local sales teams and keep contracts updated
  • Oversee exceptions management and any internal approvals
  • Keep tracking and contract signature scorecards

Customer Order Management & Execution

  • Acts as the main contact for customer orders in key European launch markets and ensures close proactive coordination with local sales team
  • Ensures that order tracking, compliance with contracts, credit conditions and internal procedures, and organizes logistics to execute the delivery via local service providers
  • Coordinates documentation and invoicing with local service and accounting providers
  • Tracks end-to-end order execution and manages any performance issues and exceptions to successful resolution
  • Follows collections and escalates issues to sales team and management

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience in all elements of customer operations in logistics over 5+ years
  • Track record in managing customers and logistics in multiple EU and non-EU markets
  • Experience in managing external service providers in multiple countries
  • Diligent and autonomous work style and strong prioritization and execution skills
  • Experience with agriculture and/or controlled conditions logistics
