We are looking for an experienced, motivated and mission-aligned Sr Program Manager to join the Product Innovation Department - an interdisciplinary team of designers, scientists, engineers, and chefs. We are looking for a person with experience at balancing strategic planning with operational execution. You will be a leader and facilitator, who thrives by creating systems, excels at summarizing information for decision-making, identifies creative solutions for road-blocks and enjoys working with technically minded people. 

You Will

  • Construct and set up new systems to improve our ability to innovate, solve problems and communicate
  • Keep evolving our systems and platforms as we grow and our needs change 
  • Turn conceptual ideas into organized plans, perfecting the details and tracking execution 
  • Work directly with Product R&D leaders to manage priorities, execute essential tasks, track goals, and maximize effectiveness 
  • Engage in strategic planning and research
  • Create systems for communicating within and between teams 
  • Build systems for storing and sharing knowledge to speed up innovation 
  • Lead critical cross-functional initiatives
  • Monitor internal team projects and cross-functional projects to keep teams connected
  • Focus resources on speeding up delayed or high-risk projects
  • Jump in and get hands dirty when a quick response is needed
  • Highlight problems, risks and opportunities, and help to create response plans and communicate decisions across the organization
  • Summarize technical results for cross-functional communication
  • Setup team programs, such as learning sessions, on-boarding, and hiring pipelines

You Have

  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Training in a technical field or strong demonstration of working side by side with scientist and or engineers to solve problems 
  • Experience in BizOps, Strategy, Project Management, Product Management or similar 
  • You are imaginative yet decisive -- curious about everything but remain focused
  • Resourceful, can-do problem solving attitude
  • High degree of maturity with excellent judgment
  • Excellent communication and will thrive in a diverse and dynamic team 
  • Calm and deliberate demeanor in stressful situations
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to concurrently manage and prioritize many critical projects
  • Skilled at balancing strategic planning with operational execution
  • Knowledge of business operations and fundamentals
  • Experience managing fast-paced projects
  • Experience summarizing technical information and data management
