We are a Norwegian publicly- traded company with headquarters in Miami. Our first commercial and fully operational Bluehouse TM was built in Denmark in 2011. The first salmon was hatched in Florida in November 2018 where the company is constructing the largest Bluehouse in the World in Homestead in Miami-Dade County.

This position is overall responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring overall Supply Chain Management system in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. Core accountabilities also include Logistics and inventory control development and implementation.


 Core responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan and implement the overall Supply Chain strategy to optimize profitability
  • Develop, implement and maintain Supply Chain Management procedures
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of materials and supplies needed
  • Manage, develop and mentor a Supply Chain team
  • Collaborate with all teams in the organization
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators to monitor Supply Chain performance
  • Suggest and develop solutions for Supply Chain process improvements
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Work with all teams to determine preferred vendors and distributors, and negotiate best-price contracts to reduce cost
  • Establish and maintain Key Supplier database and build and maintain good relationships with Vendors
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Participate in continuous development of the fish farm improving efficiency of the Supply Chain
  • Follow all safety protocols and processes.
  • Build and nurture good collaboration and coordination between all teams
  • Works with freight forwarders and transportation companies to set best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).
  • Responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.



Minimum requirements for the position


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. MBA preferred.
  • 6-7 years of logistics, procurement and/or product management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MS-Excel proficiency is a must as well as knowledge and experience in handling automated PO processes and warehouse control (Dynamics 365 technology as an example)
  • Solid organization, analytical and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detailed oriented and support and service oriented
