Your role and your team: 

You will report directly to the Head of Industrial & Production Planning and work closely with our Industrial Management team. 
The Industrial Management team is a strategy and project-based department within the Production & Procurement division. It is responsible for the design of our production system. This includes industrial engineering, digital production system, and cost engineering, as well as the programme management for our production setup. 

In this role, you will be part of the production department. You will support the design of our new factory facilities and production system. This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the fastest, most well-funded and exciting companies in the world and join the exciting journey of the Lilium Jet early in its inception phase. Our production organisation aims to set new standards with a best-in- class, digital production.


Your Day to Day:

  • Work with factory planners to design and compare factory layouts and production processes
  • Support the industrialisation process
  • Design value stream models for the production setup
  • Simulate production lines including time, cost, flow, and ergonomic evaluations
  • Coordinate with other parallel production setup projects
  • Project management and ad-hoc related tasks/projects as necessary
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders


Your Profile:

  • Industrial Management, Production or Mechanical Engineering student or equivalent required
  • Excellent academic track record and past industrial internships in related sectors such as manufacturing, consulting or construction firms
  • Experience with factory planning & simulation software (AutoCAD Factory Design Utilities, Vistable, Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, etc.)
  • High level of self-reliance: work independent and self-motivated
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Good communication and team working skills with an autonomous target-oriented workstyle
  • Outstanding analytical skills with a drive to challenge the status quo
  • Fluent in English, min. B1 level in German
  • Available for a minimum of 6 months full time
