Nexamp is seeking an Associate Asset Manager to support the growth and proper management of our distributed generation assets.  If you’re interested in joining the clean energy revolution at one of the best places to work, then this is the position for you.


We are looking for a highly organized and detail oriented individual to join our existing Asset Management team in Boston as an Associate Asset Manager. In this role you will play an integral role in to maximizing the value of Nexamp’s PV and Storage infrastructure. You will also play a key role in optimizing and implementing the processes that underpin the growing Community Solar market.

  • Manage internal tracking databases for Storage pipeline to ensure efficient reporting to Nexamp business units, financing parties and other key partners
  • Build and optimize internal databases and checklists to support invoicing, performance analysis, financial reporting, and other key elements for successful solar management.
  • Complete monthly updates of project trackers to ensure timely monetization of solar assets.
  • Work with revenue models to optimize PV project performance in new territories.
  • Research relevant solar legislation in various states to optimize the value from solar arrays and satisfy state and national reporting requirements
  • Support the due diligence review of acquired or constructed assets.
  • Support new project asset onboarding in different regional territories.
  • Review project contract agreements to identify and solve potential issues.
  • Advocate on behalf of our projects with utilities and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate integration and implementation of new Asset Management software.
  • Serve as the conduit between our sales team, billing department, IT and Business Development teams.



The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on, results-oriented, and a team player.

 Key qualifications as follows:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental policy, business, finance, or related field
  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
  • 1-2 years renewables or asset management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel

Preferred but Optional Skills:

  • Knowledge of clean energy technologies and an understanding of various clean energy markets.
  • Knowledge of Net Metering and Community Solar
  • Experience with building models and budgets with Excel
  • Experience in real estate or property tax
  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP
