About the Role

The Customer Success Lead (CSL) will be responsible for acting as the trusted advisor for ClimateAi’s strategic accounts. As ClimateAi’s first dedicated CSL, you will work directly with the CEO to define from scratch and execute a customer success playbook. You will use your deep knowledge of ClimateAi’s product and insight into customers’ business objectives to drive business value and executive alignment between ClimateAi and our customers at the C-Suite level. The role is a great fit for candidates with prior customer success or management consulting background.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers, post-sale. Starting with driving customers’ onboarding experience, you will assume overall customer adoption, satisfaction, and retention responsibility for your assigned accounts, ultimately building greater advocacy and referenceability of our customers
  • Partner with members of ClimateAi’s leadership team to build and maintain executive level relationships within the customers you support
  • Monitor adoption and utilization trends and develop success plans and business reviews for customers, outlining critical success factors, metrics for success, potential issues, and recommendations
  • Educate customers on new features and releases, and ensure regular alignment between ClimateAi’s product roadmap and customers’ product requirements
  • Identify the potential for customers to utilize additional ClimateAi products and collaborate with the ClimateAi sales team to ensure new and updated solutions are presented to address customers’ evolving business requirements
  • Identify any potential renewal risk(s) and collaborate with internal teams to remediate and ensure a successful renewal.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent master’s degree. 
  • 3+ years of customer success or account management experience in a SaaS organization, with a successful track record of working with both technical and non-technical teams or 4+ years in management consulting with close to one year of experience in engagement manager/project leader role.
  • Passion for customers and problem-solving. Thrives on solving new, complex challenges that are unique to your customers and their businesses as they relate to climate change.
  • A people person that understands technology, with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and great at delivering presentations. Has a knack for understanding the customer/stakeholder and presenting in a customized fashion to make it truly resonate for them.
  • Analytical, with an ability to interpret customer data and trends.
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment, working as a customer’s internal advocate to remove obstacles that may impede a customer’s experience with ClimateAi. 
  • Cares deeply about building trust with everyone you work with.

Most importantly, candidate must have a passion for working on tackling issues at the cutting edge of climate change adaptation and resilience.

Bonus Points: 

  • Experience in project management 
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering/sustainability/agriculture. 
  • Experience in Agriculture/Climate/Sustainability
  • Exposure to working with data science/AI teams and products
