We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee Sales and Brand/Marketing FP&A for our Retail business. This person will report to the Director, Sales & Brand/Marketing FP&A and be a strategic business partner to the Retail Sales and Marketing teams in order to drive growth, profitability, and key decision-making in the channel. The role requires a leader who can manage projects autonomously in a high-growth, quickly-scaling environment while providing the necessary financial diligence and analysis that will assist management in making critical business decisions.

You Will:

  • Be key finance partner to Retail leadership in the development of volume and revenue forecasts, sales quotas, opex budget management, metric-driven headcount planning, marketing ROI analysis, and annual planning for the Retail channel
  • Develop and track business cases for new channel launches and initiatives: DTC, Ecommerce, retail partnerships, etc.; provide financial guidance and analysis during launches
  • Support the launch of new products by assisting with price/elasticity analysis, system set up, and management of price lists
  • Advise and guide the sales team in the analysis, measurement, and tracking of trade performance and the development of trade promotions strategies
  • Prepare and report volume-rate-mix analysis and customer P&Ls to leadership in order to drive profitable growth with different retailers
  • Analyze marketing results to quantify the impact of spend against key strategies and metrics to inform future investment allocation decisions
  • Drive headcount planning for the Retail channel using productivity modeling and scaling factors
  • Work closely with teams to manage opex budgets, track project spend, and drive diligence and efficiency in spending; prepare and review monthly actual vs. budget reports with teams
  • Assist Accounting team with month-end close including checking accruals, analyzing trends and drivers, providing reporting, and explaining actual vs. forecast variances
  • Provide data-driven financial analysis and recommendations around key investments and large contracts
  • Improve upon financial models and processes for automation and accuracy
  • Work closely with Accounting, Supply Chain, Legal, other Finance teams, and Product to develop and support strong financial management of the Retail P&L

You Have:

  • 8+ years of previous FP&A experience
  • 2+ years of FP&A experience in consumer goods, consumer electronics, food, or retail
  • A strategic mindset; ability to develop frameworks and solutions to high-level questions and concepts with limited supervision
  • Highly motivated self-starter with an exceptionally high quality bar; are intellectually curious and naturally preemptive and proactive
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner cross-functionally through strong relationship building and influencing, with all levels of management
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a rigorous, highly collaborative environment where priorities can change quickly; a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness and flexibility to vary hours and efforts according to deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience building and managing complex financial models 
  • B.A. degree in quantitative field such as finance, economics, statistics, or related field
