About the Role:  

We are looking for a Sales Development Team Lead. You will train and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives. Proactively identifying and launching initiatives to drive both new business development growth and operational excellence will be a part of your day to day. Motivating individuals to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship is key. Working with marketing and sales ops to ensure thorough follow up on inbound leads, and creating vertically focused outbound campaigns is an important partnership to nourish, all while achieving quarterly and annual opportunity generation goals for the sales teams.

Impact You’ll Own:

  • Aid in the development of pipeline and territory sales growth by effectively managing your team of SDR’s
  • Partner and cross collaborate with marketing, sales ops and sales leadership to generate new business
  • Ongoing coaching and mentorship for your team of SDR’s
  • Define and launch vertically focused outbound campaigns in partnership with sales leadership to generate new opportunities for the sales teams
  • Build a continuous pipeline and feedback cycle to leadership on progress of your Sales Development Team on key business metrics

What You Bring:

  • Experience successfully managing entry level salespeople to achieve performance goals
  • Well rounded understanding of technological trends across different segments of business
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify and address roadblocks to success. See something broken? Fix it.
  • Remains optimistic and persistent with specific sales targets, even under adversity

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Knowledge of satellite imaging, earth observation, or remote sensing industry
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, specifically report generation
  • Previous experience using sales engagement platforms - Groove, SalesLoft, Outreach, Sales Navigator
  • Previous experience in sales or marketing leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree
