About the Role

In this role, you will lead the Brand and Communications teams to drive the development of a coordinated brand and communications strategy targeting primarily consumers, policy partners, and recruits. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Leadership Team, you drive our brand and communications plans, metrics, and results.

We want you to be a great storyteller, customer-centric, data-driven, and results oriented, and able to navigate the complexities of developing a brand that appeals to multiple audiences in our regulated market. This candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, strong bias-to-action, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Own and build a high leverage brand and communications strategy that aligns with Spin's goals and objectives.
  • Be the thought leader and partner to the leadership team in managing Spin’s public relations and communications across corporate communications, press, crisis communication, and internal communication.
  • Lead the evolution of Spin’s messaging and voice that resonates with our customers, and reflects our business objectives, values, and culture.
  • Work cross-functionally with other leaders to drive consistency across external facing touch points.
  • Build out a scalable and cost-effective brand and communications infrastructure with preferred outside agencies.

Qualifications

  • Track r ecord of building high performance brand and communication teams.
  • Experience driving cross-functional brand and communications programs at a growth stage organization.
  • 10 years of experience building and leading a team of brand and communications professionals.
  • Proven track record of crafting successful marketing campaigns and managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end
  • Collaborative leader who works to foster a fast paced culture of creativity, exploration, and audacious dreaming.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational building skills.
