The role of a Commercial Settlement Specialist is to be an excellent communicator, detail oriented, ability to work cross functionally and deliver accuracy and efficiency in managing the workload. The Commercial Settlement Specialist will work closely with the Commercial Department as well as Global Business Services to provide the highest quality of customer service from within. In order to achieve expedient and accurate grower payments, the Commercial Settlement Specialist must be willing and able to utilize the tools such as Kuebix, Oracle, ABBY Software Solutions and Microsoft Excel as well as navigate Salesforce to understand future and current workloads.

Outcomes & Responsibilities:

  • Capture and enter data into systems for all scale tickets and settlement statements daily
  •  Accurately enter the high volume of data from multiple different sources
  • Gather missing information needed to complete data entry requirements
  • Communicate with financial professionals from multiple locations
  • Track data independently for future follow up
  • Assist with data reconciliation ensuring that account records are complete and up to date
  • Provide reporting as required by Global Business Services or other departments
  • Serve as point of contact between multiple functions of the Indigo organization, and closes feedback loops as needed
  • Resolve all issues professionally and in a timely manner via phone, email, or text

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of finance experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience in the agricultural industry preferred/but not required
  • Some technical experience, or familiarity with CRM/ERP systems
  • Salesforce experience preferred/not required
  • Kuebix experience preferred/not required
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
