IT Director Sales and Marketing Systems will ensure Impossible Foods have the right end to end business processes, system capabilities, data architecture and insights platforms to support the exponentially growing sales and marketing business. Reporting to the Vice President of IT and Business Systems, this person will be responsible for flawless execution of the strategic IT initiatives at Impossible Foods. 
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of business acumen specific to Sales and Marketing in B2B & Consumer value chains as well as being current on critical information technologies relevant for digital native workforces and companies. Prior experience of working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute on a strategic systems roadmap would be highly desirable.

You Will:

  • Possess in depth knowledge of F&B and/or CPG industry sales and marketing processes, systems and tools
  • Establish themselves as the primary trusted advisor with Sales and Marketing teams for the technology modernization effortsProvide insight and guidance on to Sales and Marketing teams in assessing, selecting and implementing systems such as CRM, TPM, DAM, EDI etc
  • Drive and prioritize the business requirements needed to deliver the end-to-end process and system infrastructure needed to support the Sales and Marketing teams
  • Achieve alignment and collaboration on the technology roadmap across multiple functional teams with competing priorities
  • Promote close working relationships with Sales, Marketing and IT team members, customer support teams and CFO organization 
  • Work closely together with Enterprise Applications, Infrastructure and Information Security teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop project plans, which will include staffing, responsibilities, and schedule
  • Provide guidance and leadership to internal and external teams to achieve Sales and Marketing systems priorities
  • Be a strategic problem solver with ability to move quickly and effectively on high impact initiatives

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior Information Technology role in Consumer Goods or Food & Beverage industry
  • Prior experience in a fast paced, high growth scale-up is a plus
  • Proven ability to execute high-profile IT Sales & Marketing systems transformation projects and to provide thought leadership to the organization
  • Must have hands-on systems implementation experience at a Director level or higher
  • Demonstrated excellence in communications (verbal and written), presentation, financial management, analytical and customer focus skills
  • Proven track record with both working with technical & functional teams
  • Expertise in managing IT product and services partner relationships and negotiating changes to commitments/requirements
  • Able to take strategic direction from executive management and participate in strategic planning activities 
  • Able to see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance
