We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our fast-growing organization.  As a critical member of our small but fast growing People & Talent team, this role will be key in providing front line employee support and supporting enablement through administrative tasks.  The successful candidate should be passionate about enabling our employees to innovate and excel through providing excellent customer service. What you'll do:

  • Primary contact for all HR administrative needs - from within the People Ops team to the broader org
  • Own data accuracy and HR document organization to ensure ease of data access, accurate reporting
  • Create and maintain detailed process maps outlining processes across the team
  • Ensure positive new employee experience, including but not limited to benefits setup and document coordination
  • Assist with HR analytics, including engagement surveys, new hire surveys, and ad hoc polls
  • Operational support for Performance Management processes, all-staff and manager training
  • Support basic reporting requests and use judgement to escalate more complex requests
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of guidelines, business processes and systems
  • General administrative support for other HR and Talent Acquisition team members on people and culture initiatives

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years Human Resources/People Operations/Shared Services experience required, in a science or research environment preferred
  • Demonstrated success in supporting and partnering with all levels of staff
  • Efficient user of key HR/business technology, such as G Suite/Microsoft Office, HRIS, etc
  • Aptitude for learning new HRIS systems, ability to triage and diagnose tier 1 issues
  • Resourceful, self-driven with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask and establish appropriate priorities
  • Organized, strong attention to detail and follow-through
