This role will primarily support the United States GL team and will report to the GL Accounting manager. You will be responsible for accounting for transactions, reconciliations for assigned accounts and assisting month-end close and audits. This role is based in Penang, Malaysia at the Lime Shared Service Center. What You'll Do Assist with the worldwide financial close process and ensure that consolidated results are reported accurately and timely on a monthly basis Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations Prepare bank reconciliations and corresponding journal entries Prepare monthly accruals, deferrals, and amortization journal entries Maintain company fixed assets ledger and record monthly depreciation entries Planning and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor Analyzing data collected and recording results Prepare and maintain monthly G/L journal entries with supporting documentation Contribute as needed to state and local taxes compliance effort Assist with annual audits Manage cost allocations Working cross-functionally with logistics, supply chain, operations, and tax Analyze monthly variances across GL accounts and investigate discrepancies Continue to seek process improvement and automation initiatives Enhance existing processes and controls, including continuous improvement and automation What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field Minimum 4+ years professional accounting experience Experience in a high growth international environment preferred NetSuite experience preferred CPA/ACCA or equivalent a bonus Key Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements Knowledge of US GAAP Proficiency with financial systems and software required Ability to think outside the box to overcome roadblocks and ambiguity Ability to read and interpret contracts, lease agreements, and legal documents Ability to operate at Limespeed: energetic, passionate and flexible to collaborate with our US and International offices across multiple time zones Ability to interact directly with all departments and levels throughout our organization Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask Team player, have ability to work independently and willingness to take on challenge Ability to perform well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Excellent organization skills Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel Proficiency Start-up environment experience preferred Exposure to international consolidations We here at Lime strive to build a workforce comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds, abilities, minds, and identities that will help us to grow, not only as a company, but also as individuals.
